Top Ten Tuesday: My Freezing TBR

Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

Another week, another Tuesday and it’s time to dive into my freezing tbr list! Over at The Broke and the Bookish you can find Top Ten Tuesday and I was actually super excited about this one because we’re naming the books we’re reading this winter! I love writing down tbr lists, it makes me feel like I’m actually accomplishing something. AREN’T I CUTE?!? So without any further ado….

1. Red Queen

By Victoria Aveyard
I’m actually planning on starting this today. I WAS going to listen to the audiobook last week and then got distracted when Caraval popped up in my Overdrive account.

2. Shadow and Bone

By Leigh Bardugo
I expect to love this series as much as everyone else, so I’ll probably be reading the whole trilogy, but I make no promises. For now I’ll just stick with the first one.

3. A Court of Thorns and Roses

By Sarah J. Maas
Again, I’ll probably read the whole series, but you never know. I’m just putting the first one on here for now…

4. Clockwork Angel

By Cassandra Clare
This is a re-read, but I have BIG plans to re-read the entire shadowhunter-verse while I wait for Queen of Air and Darkness to come out. MWAHAHAHA!!

5. The Black Witch

By Laurie Forest
The December book for my book club is Cinder, which I’ve definitely already read, so I’m thinking of getting a head start on January’s The Black Witch. Seems to be a mixed bag in reviews, so I’m super curious.

6. A Christmas Carol

By Charles Dickens
A holiday classic! I just went to see the movie The Man Who Invented Christmas with my Downton Abbey crush Dan Stevens and it was EXCELLENT!! Totally made me want to read the book again.

7. Six of Crows

By Leigh Bardugo
For when I finish the Grishaverse of course!

8. The Immortalists

By Chloe Benjamin
I just got the book through the First to Read program and I have about 40 days to finish it. I’m really excited though, the prompt sounds really interesting!

9. A Darker Shade of Magic

By V.E. Schwab
This has been on my list forever and I’M GOING TO READ IT DANG IT!!

10. This Song Will Save Your Life

By Leila Sales
I just bought a gaggle of books on black Friday through Book Outlet and this was one. It was a total impulse buy, but as a music lover I’m actually super excited to read it.

Have you read any of these books?? What did you think?!
What books are you hoping to read this winter?

Holler at me in the comments!!

  1. Oh such great books on your tbr. Six of Crows was one of my favorites when it came out and ADSOM is also great as a whole trilogy. Happy reading!

    1. Oh it’s good?? I’m so happy I found it then! It was a total impulse buy. I love music and it was only five bucks, so SOLD!! Lol.

And RIGHT?? It’s been way too long since I read those books. A re-read is necessary!
